If there were 10 stars I would give it 11. We have been coming up and staying with Lakeview for over 10years and every year the very friendly welcoming smile, cozy cool place, great experiences, and unforgettable camaraderie just keeps getting better and better every year. God Bless Maria for she was laid with surgery the day we arrived and everything was still top notch clean and ready for us to move in (even early) only for four days. The Fishing was great we clean fish in style in their cool bug free ROOMY fish cleaning station with a bunch of fishing buddies where we shared our duties of cleaning fishing, drinking rye, and telling a few story's that happened that day. We had problems with our own boats and never fear, John was there quickly to get us out back on the water. Countless of times he has helped us out in our own misery. Our last night there we have a Fish fry where feed for over 50 people and the only things we have to bring our 2 pans, oil, seasoning, and of course those fresh fillets. The grills/fryers set up Lakeview has is the best I have seen and will accommodate for our extra guest with lots of room for everyone. I have to struggle very hard to find one negative thing about staying with Lakeview Lodge, we always leave satisfied and only wish we could stay longer. Lakeview Lodge is our #1 destination when comes to Devils Lake.

What can you say about this place except that they do a fabulous job? Nice cabins, lots of stock in the office (ice, bait, frozen pizza), great kitchens, a fish cleaning shack... I could go on and on. We usually try this place first when coming to Devils Lake.
